William C. Barada – President

During the ten years that Will Barada has served as President of Barada Associates, he’s shown tireless dedication wearing every hat from chief operating officer to director of business development. Through these efforts he’s helped grow the family business into an industry leading background screening company. His accomplishments were culminated in 2008 when he negotiated for the purchase of full ownership of the business from the original founding partners.

Prior to joining the family business, Will served in Community Outreach for WFYI Indianapolis, the local PBS affiliate.

Will earned his BA in English Education from Indiana University and is a member of National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and the Indianapolis chapter of the Society of Human resource Professionals (SHRM).

In his free time, Will pursues his passion as a husband and father. Will and his wife, Eileen, also an IU graduate, have three sons, Matthew, Nicholas, and Joseph.

Paul William Barada – Chairman

Chairman of Barada Associates, Paul Barada founded the company with two other partners in 1979. For more than the last 30 years, Barada has served as Chairman, guiding company development, shaping marketing and overseeing account maintenance.

Before developing Barada Associates, Barada, served as Executive Director of the Rush Country Chamber of Commerce and proved instrumental in expanding Rushville’s business sector. Barada also founded the Rush County Community Foundation, which now has assets surpassing seven million dollars. In 2006, he was elected to the Executive Council of the Indiana University Alumni Association.

In 1996, Governor Evan Bayh appointed Barada to the “Council of the Sagamore of the Wabash,” the highest honor the Governor of Indiana can bestow. Barada was named Rush County’s “Most Influential Man of the 1980’s.”

Barada has a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University. He completed the Institute for Organization Management program at the University of Notre Dame.

He and his wife, Connie, enjoy spending time with their three sons and eight grandchildren.

Kelley Carter – Vice President

As the current Vice President, Kelley Carter oversees production, personnel, coordination with suppliers, client management and compliance. Her versatility as a supervisor is essential to Barada Associates’ success. She not only tracks turnaround time and monitors the functionality of the online system but also manages staffing schedules and evaluates vendors.

Barada Associates welcomed Carter to the team as a Client Services Manager in 2009. Before joining Barada Associates, Carter served as Office Manager at the Payne Firm, Inc. in Cincinnati and as a legal secretary in the Attorney General’s office in Indianapolis.

Carter received an Executive Assistant Certificate from the University of Cincinnati and an Advanced Certificate from NAPBS FCRA. She is a member of NAPBS and of East Central Indiana Human Resources Association.

Mardella Huskins – Director of Client Services

Mardella Huskins joined Barada Associates in 1984 and is proud to have spent more than half her life helping clients obtain information about prospective employees. As Director of Client Services, Mardella serves as the primary point of contact and chief problem solver for all Barada Associates’ customers. She also supervises delivery of services by internal staff and manages relationships with vendors and information suppliers.

The Rushville, Indiana native is a member of the Blue River Society for Human Resource Professionals (BRSHRM) and an Assistant Coach for the Rushville Consolidated High School Cheerleaders.
